It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Andrew White, born on May 19, 1950, who left us on February 16, 2024. Andrew was a man of remarkable strength of character and profound passion for life. Andrew was born to his mother Martha Ann Stewart and his father Drayton who has passed on. Andrew was raised in Rochester, New York and moved to Brooklyn, New York where they nicknamed him “ Big Pop”.

He lived his life to the fullest, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. His wisdom, charisma, and humor, will always be remembered. We will always remember our beloved chef.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Candice White, his two daughters Lakisha and Lakeema, two sons Lamar and Jamel, his granddaughters Shakhira, Shalyrah, and Sa’Nai. His three grandsons Lamar Jr, Shakim and Major who will carry his legacy forward. Our thoughts and prayers are with her as she navigates this difficult time. Rest peacefully, Andrew; you will forever be in our hearts.
