Background
My son Drew died unexpectedly while in police care where their suppose to feel safe. My son was mentally unstable at the time of his arrest and was not placed in a proper cell where he could be watched 24/7 instead he was put in a cell that had a top bunk that gave that option available for my son to hang himself. We paid $5,000 to a private autopsy to be preformed, $3,000 went to funeral home with $2,000 and change balance, and now the cemetery is asking for $2,800 and change to put him in the ground, and they want that paid in full by the 10th of March for my son to be buried on the 14th. The funeral I can work on payments with, but the $2,800 I need your help. I've been out of work for a!most 2 years now I've been babysitting my new granddaughter. My son was a good man, hard worker, he loved his family, and he was loved by all. My son was feeling hopeless, he he er should of been in a cell, he should of been in a hospital. When you've been picked up by police and you were fully naked saying someone was pulling on your toes, jail wasn't the answer. Your donation will help his family make his final resting spot come true, if you can share we can reach that goal. Thank you very much, MoM that is heartbroken
