Andrew Thomas Sidebottom
July 12, 2016- April 22, 2026
Andrew Thomas Sidebottom, affectionately known as “Tiny Hulk”, age 9 of Denton, Texas, passed away April 22, 2026, surrounded by those that loved him, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Andrew was born on July 12, 2016, in Arlington, Texas to Caitlin Sidebottom. Andrew loved school; he attended school in Whitesboro, Nocona, and most recently at Dorothy P. Adkins Elementary School in Lantana, Texas. He loved Legos, cars, coloring, dinosaurs, werewolves, superheroes, Minecraft, Mario, sharks, and horror movies.
He is survived by his mother, his older brother Vincent, his Mimi Mary Voorhies, Great-Grandparents Rick and Dorothy Voorhies, Great-Aunt Nikki Voorhies, Great-Uncle Joey (Season) Gurley, Uncle Alexander (Abby) Sidebottom, Great- Aunt Moriah Gray-Eskue (Shane), Great-Uncle Jason Sidebottom, Aunt Jennifer Wyble (Roy Lindsey) and their children Aurora and Cheylynn, Second cousins, Dustin (Sharon), and Hunter Dowdle, and seven third cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother Betty Franks Gurley and Great- Uncle James Richard Voorhies Jr.
Though his time with us was far too short, he leaves us with a lifetime of wonderful memories we will always cherish. Andrew had a silly nature, a joyful laugh that could melt the heaviest of hearts, and a bright personality that lit up every room he entered.
His celebration of life will be May 30,2026 at The MLK Jr. Recreation Center Ammons Room A. 1300 Wilson Street Denton TX 76205
The family extends many thanks to the doctors and staff of Texas Oncology and Medical City Dallas Pediatric Oncology Department for their extraordinary care and compassion.
