How you can help
My name is Gary Schwarz, and my father, Andy Schwarz, passed away on August 7, 2025. He is survived by his son Gary, Mother Joan, and his ex wife Debbie.
Our family is seeking help to raise funds for my dad’s funeral expenses. Andy was a deeply kind-hearted soul who dedicated his life to helping others. He regularly donated platelets at City of Hope and volunteered every month at Pasadena’s Union Station to help feed the homeless. Giving his time and care to those in need was simply who he was.
In 2018, Andy suffered a serious brain injury that left him unable to live independently. Despite this challenge, he remained warm, generous, and brave, never showing fear as his condition progressed.
Any contribution would mean so much to us as we prepare to honor his life and spirit. Thank you for your kindness and support. Contribute
