Both of us in a place we had no business being. I'm just a country boy from a town of 3,000 people. So when I meet Drew or NY as he was known, He was like a vacation. The story's of New York City were both amazing and terrifying. But I grew to love Andrew he became a brother and friend. He was so far from home, I remember telling him to put my mom on his list so he could  at least get some free food. When it was time for him to leave. My mom came and got him. I never saw him again. I thought about Drew often, but life and circumstances didn't let it happen. I did get to talk to Drew on the phone and it was like 15 years never happen. So this is me 7 days ago wondering about my old friend.It was very hard to see his obituary. I can't express how sorry i am for your lose. Drew talked about you Melissa and how great his mom (Linda) was. I just needed to reach out. I know Drew is in Heaven for we spent much time praying and reading the word. He was a teacher at heart.
