Andrew's obituary

Andrew Pyskoty, 79, of Nanticoke, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at the V.A. Medical Center, Plains Township.
He was born on November 26, 1926, in Sheatown, a son of the late George and Helen (Frankiewicz) Pyskoty. He attended Nanticoke schools and served in the Navy during World War II. Andrew worked for Culp Brothers and then at the Acme Warehouse in Forty Fort, where he retired in 1988.
Andrew was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel; twin brother Theodore Pyskoty; brothers Frank Pyskoty, Edward Pyskoty and John Stawacz; sisters Mamie Petrosky, Josephine Wojciochowski, Jennie Walengengewicz and Victoria Price; and granddaughter Melissa Marie Kline.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Rita Zaremba Pyskoty; daughters Rose Ann Kline and her husband, James; Andrea Pyskoty and fiancé David Pahler Sr.; grandchildren James Kline Jr., Brian Clarke Jr. and Tricia Clarke; sisters Stella Davis, Helen Gmoch and Francis Kasian; nieces and nephews.
Andrew will always be remembered as a great husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, swimming at Moon Lake Park, playing his harmonica and taking daily walks around the town. He was very much loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Military funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Newport Township. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
