Andrew Wayne Merchant, age 44 of Columbia Falls, ME passed away unexpectedly April 9, 2023 at his home.

Born August 12, 1978, in Rochester, NH, son of Bert B. Merchant Sr. And Sonya J. Griswold.

Andrew grew up and lived in Canaan, NH for many years and attended Mascoma Valley Regional High School.  Andrew enjoyed spending time with family and friends where he always loved making people laugh. He had a gift of writing poetry. Andrew was loved by many and will be missed by many more.

Survived by his father Bert B. Merchant Sr, of Columbia Falls, ME, two brothers: Dan Collins and wife Becky Lynn of Canaan, NH, Bert B. Merchant Jr. And girlfriend Cicely of Beaufort, SC. He was known as “Unca” to nine nieces and nephews: Ashlynne, Dartangnan, Daniel, Morgan, Rachel, Ryan, Jonathan, Emily, and Joshua. An aunt, uncles, and many cousins.

Pre-deceased by his mother Sonya J. Griswold and sister Jennifer L. Reed.

A graveside service will be held on July 18, 2023 at 2:00PM at Mainly Hill cemetery in Columbia Falls, ME.
