Andrew Jason Reese, born on June 24, 1971, in Orlando, Florida, and passed away on January 26, 2025 in Lake Mary, Florida, at the age of 53. Jason was a cherished father, son, brother and uncle.
Jason was preceded in death by his loving mother, Angela Reese. Jason is survived by his beloved daughter, Gabriella, who was the light of his life. He also leaves behind his father, Bobby Reese, brother, William (Elizabeth), sister, Amanda (Robin), and his nieces, Elle, Reese, and Rowan.
Jason spent his formative years in Collierville, Tennessee, and graduated from Collierville High School in 1990. He played the trombone in the marching band. Jason also served as a member of the United States Marine Corp as an electrician and a DJ. Jason also earned his pilots license to fly small planes. Jason believed in the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jason thrived in roles that allowed him to entertain and connect with people. He was a charismatic on-air radio personality and worked Universal Studios. Jason’s passion for performance was evident in his memorable portrayal of Beetlejuice and in his skillful stilt-walking during parades.
Jason was known for his quick wit, ability to make others laugh, and his unwavering dedication to his daughter Gabby. He could effortlessly shift from sharing humor to engaging in deep conversations about politics. Jason enjoyed NFL football, including his favorite team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Rest in peace, Jason. Your love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
