Andrew Harold Edmondson, 80, of Hobbs, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2023 after a long and well lived life. After 40 years of hard work in the oilfield, Andrew retied from DCP and spent the remainder of his life spending as much time as he could hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his: wife, Marlene who he spent 60 wonderful years with. His daughter Mary Peña- Husband Ben, Son, Andy Edmondson- wife Raith, two Grandsons: Ben Peña- wife Allie and Tanis- wife Tori, and two granddaughters: Katy Pena- fiancé Jose and Mckayla Edmondson. He was also blessed with two great-grandsons: Tyler and Jaycen and has two more great-grandchildren on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marion, his daughter Teresa, his granddaughter Amber and his sister Irene.

Andrew’s family is respecting his wishes of having him cremated and spreading his ashes at a private location on September 28, 2023 with only his immediate family. There will be a small meal to be shared with extended family on September 30, 2023 at Harry McAdams park in Hobbs, NM at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the New Mexico Wildlife Federation in his memory.
