Andrew Michael Carroll (1965-2025)

Andrew "Andy" Michael Carroll, age 59 of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, after a long struggle following a debilitating automobile accident in 2023. He was born on August 11th, 1965, in La Puente, CA, to parents Patrick and Barbara Carroll, and subsequently grew up in various towns in southern and northern California.

A lifelong musician and writer, Andy worked in various occupations: electrician, theatre operations, libriarian, computer science, and after moving to Texas in 2016, in the vegan food industry. He will be remembered for his endless generousity and kindness, along with his droll and quick-witted sense of humor. Andy was also know for his love of dogs, especially in his role as "Dog Father" to both Spike and Squiggy.

Andy is survived by his wife and longtime friend, Lori "Lola" Carroll, who served as his primary caretaker during his recent convelesence, and by his mother Barbara, and brothers Mark and Steven.
