Andy's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew "Andy" Alosi. Known to all as Andy, he was born on December 15, 1954, and sadly left us on July 18, 2023. His vibrant personality – loud, direct, inviting, and loving – touched everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to live on through his loved ones.

Andy is survived by his loving and ever-supportive wife, Rachel Alosi, whom he married in 1978. His legacy also lives on through his sons and daughter in-laws. Chris Alosi and Jill Alosi. Jon Alosi and Jess Alosi. Andrew Alosi and Maria Alosi and his grandchildren Arianna, Ayden, Ashlyn, Anthony, Alex, and Evelyn. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren, their achievements and happiness were his greatest reward.

Dedicated to his community, Andy was a volunteer  soccer coach at Charlotte Independence. In his professional life, he was a restaurant owner, a commercial contractor, and a custom home builder. These occupations were a testament to his meticulous nature and commitment to excellence. To Andy, "The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor." This teaching will remain one of the greatest lessons he shared in his lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established in Andy's honor at the York County Disabilities Foundation. The foundation is accepting donations at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of…. Your contributions will help continue his legacy of love, compassion, and commitment to excellence.

Andy Alosi will be remembered and missed by all those whose lives he touched. His laughter, strong presence, and life lessons will be treasured forever. May his soul rest in peace.
