"I have been missing my good morning greetings and good night, sleep well messages from my brother Andy and his incredible prayer warrior support! He was always there for me as I was for him! I thank the Lord for giving Andy to me, placing him in my life just at the right moment to help me through a very tough time when my father had a serious heart surgery and a rough 2 year recovery. Andy was right there with me it seemed whether I was at home in Oregon or down in the beautiful southwest desert of Arizona. There's so much I could say but will keep it under control. Patty, your husband is an amazing man of God, and He loved you very much! I know that he loved all his children, their spouses and all the grandchildren very much too! I want to say that I love my brother Andy and though our friendship was just shy of 5 years. I truly grew to love and appreciate Andy, go to battle in prayer for all of his requests as well as just praying for him as led by Holy Spirit. I told him some time back that whoever gets to heaven first, get the boat, poles and tackle ready and we'll go fishing together! He loved that thought!! Thank you for a wonderful memorial service today, I about started to cry walking up to say a few words in honor of Andy, it would of been ok, I have a soft heart. God bless you Patty and Family, I pray for God's peace, comfort and healing in each of your lives. If there's any help you need, please don't hesitate to get ahold of us!" - Mark Hill
"Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to attend the Remembrance Service for my dad today. Whether in person and online, your presence was such a blessing to our entire family. I wish I had been there in person so I could have hugged everyone. All I can say is, thank God for technology so we could join via the internet. I hope to keep in touch with all of you. Please send me a message if you need my contact info. Love and Hugs from the Sunshine State." - Sarah Daniels

"Diana espero pueda leer en español. Siento mucho la partida de Andy. Lo conocí muy pequeña cuando vivía en Panamá pues el Sr Andrés y Josefina eran los padrinos de bautizo de mi hermana y mi papá el padrino de Andy. Estoy segura el Señor lo tiene en su casa. Esperamos no perder comunicación con una familia muy apreciada por nosotros." - Fanny Saavedra

[Translation]  "Diana I hope I can read in Spanish. So sorry for Andy's departure. I met him very young when I lived in Panama because Mr. Andrés and Josefina were the godparents of my sister and my dad Andy's godfather. I’m sure the Lord has it in his house. We hope not to lose communication with a family very valued by us." - Fanny Saavedra

"So many years and so many memories!

I met Andy in 1987 when the Sanchez family was house sitting Patty's parents home on 60th and Mitchell. I lived across the street.

The most personal and honoring time with Andy and family was on my 40th birthday in January 1991 when we all went to the Boy Scout Camp Merriweather near Lincoln City. Although Andy's birthday was seven days before mine, we had my favorite cake. It was so restful and fun to hang out in a large building with a full size gym, bunk beds where Patty and I slept with the children, a nice kitchen area where we could prepare meals. The wind and rain blew all weekend while we were warm inside. What a wonderful memory." - Cheryl Martin

"Andy always showed and told how much he loved his family. He was so proud of the entire family. When he was getting rid of stuff when ready to pack up, he gave my son, Nick, a big box of all kinds of DVD movies. Nick loved them still have a few at the cabin where he lives." - Kim Moore
