In Loving Memory of Andrea Kelly
My Mother, Andi Kelly, passed away suddenly sometime in the early hours on Wednesday. She was not in the best health towards the end but this was very unexpected. She was the person who gave selflessly throughout her life, and we want to honor her with a final farewell.
My Mom and Stepdad, Guy, were already very tight on funds. We have chosen cremation and in order to release her ashes, we must pay in full. We are hoping to be able to schedule a viewing, if possible so we can all see Mom one more time.
We are putting together everything that we have as a family, but are coming up short.
A quick viewing, without a service followed by cremation is $2145. We have $300, which leaves $1845 remaining. Three family members will be traveling from a southern state up to NH, we are not including that expense in our ask, but any money over and above would go to help with flights, food and the impending hotel stay.
This is a really big request, that feels icky to ask for, but is necessary for us to be able to help take care of our precious Mom's earthly body.
Mom was the beacon of our family and we all feel so lost without her. The woman who never took crap from anybody, the woman who would help out any person she saw in need, the woman who could start conversations with complete strangers and end up being best friends by the end of it, the woman who taught her daughters how to speak up for themselves and encouraged them to do better with their lives than she had done, the woman with the loud mouth, huge heart and the best laugh. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and there really was no better Nana than her.
Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to us.
