Andrea began sponsoring Shiban in Uganda through Compassion International in 2004. Over time, her support grew into a meaningful connection with Shiban’s extended family, including Shidrah, Sandra, and their sons Liam and Enzo.

Her visits to Uganda in 2021 and again in January 2025 were among her most cherished adventures—filled with warmth, laughter, and shared celebrations. Andrea spoke often and fondly of her Uganda family, and the joy she felt in being part of their lives.
