Annie's obituary

Anastacia Bitco Trumbley, born June 14, 1948, passed away on February 16, 2026.

Anastacia made her home in Dunkerton and Tagbilaran City, carrying her love and generosity across both the United States and the Philippines. She was a devoted mother to Julius (Nena) Trumbley, Mark Anthony (Rachel) Trumbley, and Cleopatra Trumbley, and a proud grandmother to eleven cherished grandchildren.

In her younger years, Anastacia owned and operated a restaurant in Dunkerton, where she became known not only for her cooking but for her warmth and hospitality. Feeding people was her love language. No matter the time of day, she would welcome anyone in and insist on making sure they had something to eat.

Anastacia was a deeply giving and generous person, always ready to lend a hand to those in need—whether in her local community or back home in the Philippines. Her bright and joyful spirit was contagious, bringing comfort, laughter, and light to all who knew her. She created a sense of home wherever she was, and her kindness left a lasting impact on countless lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dunkerton Community Center on Saturday, March 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
