Toirac built a church near Havana in 1957 and Pastored it until 1962 after being threatened by the communist dictatorship of Fidel Castro to control all religious organizations in Cuba as well as freedom of speech. The Toirac family fleeing from Cuba, went to the United States and arrived in Miami where Rev. Eliseo Toirac and Rev. Florentino Toirac (uncles) awaited them. Anabel started her life in Florida learning to play Piano and attending school in Miami with her brother Moe. In 1964, The family went to a third country (Canada) for their residency. During this trip, they were able to visit Florentino's family in Indiana and Eliseo in New York before returning to South Florida. Year's later Anabel was no longer the youngest sibling when Adelfa gave birth to Alex Toirac (her youngest brother) in Miami. In 1969, her dad was given a Christian hispanic book store to run in New Jersey since he ran the Libreria Interamericana Cristiana bookstore in Miami for many years prior. The new bookstore in Union City, New Jersey was named Alex Books after his son. Anabel and Moe attended middle school in Union Hill while living in Jersey. The bookstore was not making a good profit and family decided to return to Miami by 1972. Moe graduated while at Union Hill High school. Anabel graduated from Miami High School in 1974 and soon after became an active student at Miami Dade Community College. Anabel wanted to be a Special Ed teacher. Later she made her her minor in Religous Studies. She attended Sunday School at a Baptist Church with the family in Hialeah and played the Piano there. Rev. B.M. Toirac became pastor at a new hispanic ministry in Doral by 1976 called Expressway Baptist Church and Anabel became the new Pianist there as well as the Youth Leader. She later became a Sunday School teacher for the Middle youth while at Expressway. By 1978 she began working at the Dade County Court as a clerk. By 1979, the family moved west to an apartment building and soon after she met Joe Llanes whom she later married while at Expressway Baptist Church. The hispanic group left Expressway and became Light & Truth in Miami. By mid 1980s, Anabel was promoted to a Citation Clerk job with the Coral Gables Court House. She and Jose moved to West Miami where they lived until 1987. Problems with her job led to many problems which included her divorce that year. She was no longer pianist at Light & Truth. So she started attending University Baptist Church in the Gables. She met a Police Seargent named Sid Hite while working in the courthouse. Soon after she joined the church Choir. By 1991, she married Sid Hite and they both moved to Central Florida where they both purchased land in Clermont and built a 2 story Log Cabin home and hoped to make Disney part of their lives. Anabel started with one cat and one rabbit and soon after multiplied them. She had over 30 rabbits, 6 cats, 4 dogs and a parrot during the years at the log cabin. They struggled financially during the 1990s and became Foster Parents where they took in several children. While in Clermont she played piano and the Marimba at different churches and was a sunday school teacher to young kids. They lived there until 2001 when they divorced because of Sid's Unfaithful behavior. Under unknown reasons she signed away her half of their home to Sid and soon after was evicted from her Clermont home. Foster kids were sent to other families eventhough she kept intouch with most of them. She went from there to other homes before taking her two dogs and parrot to Miami to live in her parent's home in 2005. The divorce was difficult for Anabel and she wanted to end her life and did not take good care of her health. Her blood pressure was always too high and soon became a big problem. By June 2005, she went to Cuba with members of the Clermont Baptist Church and visited her father's church near Havana. When she returned to Miami, she decided to work in the family bookstore Libreria interamericana with her uncle Rafael Toirac. In 2006, she became very ill and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she lost her kidneys due to many years of high blood pressure. In 2007, she had an auto accident while traveling to Clermont to put her furniture in storage. The back injury wound haunt her years later. In 2009, she got a Kidney implant but was rejected when Anabel refused to take all the meds issued. Moe passed away from a Diabetic infection and soon after her Uncle Rafael passed away. She spent the rest of her life in dialysis but avoided any new health conditions for over a decade until after her parents passed away in 2019. She and her brother Alex were helping eachother during pandemic era after she quit working at the bookstore and Alex began working at Kindred Hospital. But after a bump into furniture, led her to believe she was bitten by a spider when instead was an ulcer behind her ankle in December 2022. She suffered pain and went to several different hospitals hoping for healing but instead got worse. She also suffered a fall which brought back the injury from 2007. After several surgeries, she became bedridden and under pain killers for the rest of 2023. Many doctors wanted to amputate her legs to save her life but Anabel refused any amputation. Her legs improved at Kindred Hospital thanks to Wound Care but her insurance wanted to move her after 90 days. She was taken to West Gables Rehab thanks to Medicare who refused to continue to pay for her care at Kindred Hospital. She was not properly cared for and she stop breathing during late September. She told Alex that she was in too much pain in her legs just days before. Her cell phone was stolen while at West Gables. Her breathing led to her being taken to Kiralty Hospital and in ICU where her condition worsened. Alex worked at Kindred and requested her doctors at Kiralty return Anabel to Kindred with hope of improvement in her condition. By October 21, she was returned to Kindred Hospital but it was too late and Anabel had too much fluid in her lungs which Kiralty was unable to dialyze her in final weeks.
