Ana's obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ana "Morena" Pacheco who left us all too soon on March 8, 2026. Born May 8, 1965, Ana preferred to be called by her birth name, though many affectionately knew her as Morena. She was a woman whose radiant warmth and joyous spirit brightened every room.

Ana is lovingly remembered and survived by her children, Kevin Maldonado and Phillip Maldonado. The profound love she held for her sons was a cornerstone of her life and an embodiment of her enduring spirit. She is predeceased by her mother, Paulina Pacheco, and father, Ramon Pacheco.

A celebration of Ana's life will take place on March 22, 2026, at 09:00AM-12:00PM at 2200 Highland Ave. After her service we will be having a celebration of life potluck from 1:00PM-05:00PM at 299 I St, Chula Vista, CA 91910 (VFW in Chula Vista). It was her wish that this gathering be filled with the same love, positivity, and warmth that she radiated throughout her life.

Ana found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing Candy Crush and cherished the times with family and friends. Trips to Mexico were particularly dear to her, providing both an escape and an opportunity to make lifelong memories.

Family was at the heart of every cause Ana cared about. This devotion was evident in the positive, warm-hearted, loving, hardworking, and strong woman she was. She believed in the power of positivity and faith in each other, lessons she shared with all who had the pleasure to know her.

Among her greatest accomplishments, she saw her children grow and succeed in life. Her legacy, her sons, and the positive atmosphere she instilled within her family, will continue to inspire and guide them.

With a fondness for purple, a testament to her vibrant personality, Ana was a beacon of positivity and resilience. Her passing will leave an irreplaceable void, but her spirit, love, and unwavering optimism will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Ana, your memory will forever be a blessing.
