I remember the morning of 3/12/25 we talked on the phone and things were normal. Who would have thought this would happen this soon. I still remember all the boat rides and pirate cruises we would go on, the times we invited friends to swim in the holiday-inn pool. The football games we would fall asleep watching. She will be forever missed. ποΈποΈLLAποΈποΈ
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Amy. Β My husband Jim Rice met her while visiting family in Ft Myers. Β He told me that she was quite sassy & spicy! Β I am sure we would had been good friends! Β A beautiful kind soul gone too soon. Β πΉ
I had the pleasure of meeting Amy this past Christmas. My impression of her was she loved life and very fun to be around. My condolences to Jeff as you could tell he loved her very much!Β
My favorite memory is when we were on fort Myers Beach for memorial Day with Calvin Jeff her and Allen. We left to go get Margaritas at Margaritaville. We ended up sneaking into the bar area, getting the margaritas and then slipping into their pool. Pretty sure we were not allowed to do any of that. Then we left and tried to come back and they stopped us. I guess they knew that we did it the first time and we weren't supposed to. That was just the way Amy was. She was always outgoing and adventurous. She loved the beach. I've never seen her get angry. I've never even heard of her being angry at anyone for anything. She was so calm all the time. She was so good for Jeff. I'm really sad for him. But I'm glad that we all got through experience a little bit of her life with her.
