Amy will always be in my heart and in my memories. I think of her often and I feel grateful that I got to know her and be close with her. I miss her so much and wish we could have hung out like we had planned.

Amy was one of the first artists to welcome me to the Location 1980 art studio. I remember nights where we would be in her studio, painting and enjoying music together until sunrise. One of her greatest attributes was finding a person's inner artist and guiding that artist on a more creative path to walk on. It's kinda hard walking that path alone, so it was nice finding someone like Amy to shine a light on that path.

I will miss our paint sessions.

Amy and I were two peas in a pod since we met in elementary school. We would always run around on the horse trail behind my house or in the greenbelt near her house building forts and running around! We also both equally enjoyed arts and crafts, which Amy was always MUCH better at --fast forward to her success as an artist as we got older! There was truly never a dull moment.

Being Amy’s next-door neighbor in our art studios was so joyful.  We had a really great friendship and every time she saw me she would be like oh hey Jackie come join us. She was a wealth of information and if she was having a bad day, I could cheer her up if I was having a bad day she could cheer me up.

I watched her go through a lot of things in the last seven years, but Art and Painting was always her stability.  Amy had a heart of gold and she gave great advice.  She was sharing and caring and thoughtful.  The way that she followed her excitement, and could be goofy, and playful, it’s something I’ll never forget, and I’ll always cherish those times together.

I said it before in a comment, but it's a striking memory of Amy...she once said to her Mom about my dog Aussie that there was "something special about him...it's the way he looks at me..it's as if he is looking into my soul".

I believe he was looking into her soul.. because he recognized how special she was.

RIP Amy...if you see Aussie give him a pat for me.

Beautiful tribute to your beautiful Amy. Love to you all.
So, so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful girl. Thinking and praying for you all.
