We wish to acknowledge the passing of Amy Jones, who, born on the 27th of February, 1991, unfortunately departed this life on July 9, 2023. Amy's love of the musical stylings of Rising Appalachia underscored her free-spirited nature and unique taste. She found joy in her recreational activities which brought happiness and meaning to her life which included spending time with her dear friends, practicing Poi, and playing the guitar.

Amy was a loving, kind soul, traits that were evident to all who had the fortune to cross paths with her. She was known for her amazing listening skills and being a shoulder to lean on during trying times. It was her calming presence that made her the first call whenever one needed company.

Amy's legacy is a precious one. She leaves behind not just friends but a family made up of the many people she touched with her kind and loving spirit. Her vibrant energy remains a comforting presence in the hearts and minds of those who knew her well. Amy was universally loved, and this love surpassed even her own understanding.

Amy leaves an indelible mark, not only on those she interacted with but also in this world. Her spirit, free and untamed, her kindness, genuine and selfless, and her legacy, enduring and profound. Adding comfort to our grief is the knowledge that her spirit still lives and inspires, reminding us of the beauty that was and will always be Amy Jones.
