My heart breaks that you’re gone momma but I know it’s only in this world. None of us are truly ever gone as our love for each other lives on through memories and family. I just want you to know how much we all miss you and as promised I conquered my fear of flying to come get shorty! (Her beloved cat) 

I wish more than anything you could be here for the birth of Nicolas in June but I find solace in knowing he’ll have the best guardian angel in you. I know you’ll be watching every moment as he grows into a young man. I’ll show him the way the navigate this world as you showed me. With love and care for each other.

I  love you forever momma. Thank you for everything. From home improvement projects (I can’t believe you, me and Patrick built a fence!) to scrolling Pinterest together for hours - we always found a way to have fun. You’ve always been my number 1 supporter. Whenever I  needed a listening ear, you were always the first one I’d call and every time, you’d pick up. Even in your passing, I find myself out of instinct and muscle memory ready to show you pictures of the baby or what I’m working on. Our hearts are broken without you, but I have comfort knowing you are resting peacefully in heaven and will be our family’s guardian angel. Don’t shop too much without me up there. <3
