Amir's obituary
In Loving Memory
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Amir Asadi, in his 91st year on Monday August 26th, 2024. He passed away in the loving and caring home of his daughter Rafi and his son-in-law Khosro. He was born on March 08, 1933 and survived by his wife, his 3 children, and 4 grandchildren.
He studied English literature in Tehran, excelled in his studies, taught in a number of high schools, and worked as an English translator and interpreter, before he started teaching in university. Beside his work, he volunteered his time and contributed to communities by helping charities in his spare time. He generously supported a number of unfortunate and orphan kids with their education, food, clothing, medical expenditures and more until they grew up and started their post secondary education. He also supported several less fortunate families when they were in most need.
He loved nature, enjoyed daily long walks, gardening in his backyard and frequently hosting friends and families in his loving home. He was a true gentleman and a highly respected teacher, known for his discipline, welcoming nature, and deep spirituality. Throughout his career, he was consistently recognized as a top educator, earning numerous accolades for his exceptional teaching style. He was not only a role model to his students but also to his children and grandchildren, embodying the qualities of an elite educator and mentor. Everyone who met him recognized his kindness, warmth, patience, generosity, sacrifice, his love for his students, family & friends and even for those who he barely knew.
His ability to offer thoughtful advice and unwavering support made him a precious husband, father, grandfather, and a true friend. A loyal and wise confidant whose gentle soul, warm smile and thoughtful generosity touched the lives of so many.
He will be forever missed by his wife, his children and grandchildren, family & friends, and those who were fortunate to know him.
