Dear Brothers, Sisters, Relatives, and Friends, It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear Aunty Amina (Amina Yiega) on December 13th, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. She was undergoing treatment for pneumonia at Adventist Hospital-OHSU. Aunty Amina was a beautiful soul who touched so many lives with her kindness, care, and unconditional love. She was more than just family—she was a friend to us all. Her infectious laughter, sense of humor, and joyous spirit brought fun and light into every moment. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special, and her presence always filled the room with warmth and happiness. We have created a memorial space online where we can come together to remember her, share pictures, and post our treasured memories of her remarkable life. This will be a special place to celebrate the love, laughter, and joy she brought to us all. Details of the funeral arrangements will be shared as they are finalized.
