Amie Michelle (Mayor) Yirka, 43, of Pasadena, MD went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018, surrounded by family and friends.   

Born on May 11, 1974, Amie grew up in the Chesterfield community where she had many friends and even met her future husband at the age of 13. She attended & graduated from Chesapeake High School.

Amie was a Christian. She loved the Lord and attended Lighthouse Church, where she proudly got baptized with her husband and her daughter. She was a loving mother to her daughter Ryleigh and her three dogs. She never missed a chance to spoil her babies. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, painting, music, her dogs and hanging out with her closest friends. She loved to laugh and would always light up a room!

Amie is survived by her husband Michael Yirka, her daughter Ryleigh, her mother Marilynn Wagner (Howard), her father Edwin Mayor (Katherine), her Godmother Carol Dancy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. Amie was preceded in death by her son Caden. As an organ donor, she significantly impacted three other lives.  

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2018, 4:00pm in the Sanctuary of The Lighthouse Church, located at 6691 Baymeadow Drive, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. Casual attire, children and all are welcome!
