With profound grief, we announce the passing of Amica Armistead (Grayson), who left us on March 8, 2011. Born on September 12, 1957, Amica's beautiful spirit and enduring legacy will forever be cherished. A devoted wife, mother, and dear friend, Amica's benevolence and warmth touched everyone she met.

Her soulful presence and illuminating optimism left an indelible mark on us all. She is survived by her husband, Yvesly Grayson; her beloved daughters, Samaiyah Armistead (Jed), Samantha Grayson, and Kassondra Grayson; her brother, Raymond Boyd; her sisters, Dale Wilson, Cheryl Woods, and Latonya Goodson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends who stand as a living testament to Amica's unyielding love and fortitude.
