Amelia and Dennis always stayed in touch for over forty years good friends. The picture was a trip to Reno they took me after my husband John passed. Amelia was always positive and happy, she will truly be missed.  My heart is with Eric  and her family she was truly a special lady.
Kindness, patience, tender consideration…Amelia exemplified all the above in here business life.

I have known Amelia for 20 years as a neighbor and best friend.   She was a  beautiful person who first cared for others all the time.   When I moved to Clayton, Dennis and Amelia adopted me and life was always great.  Ever the matchmaker, Amelia introduced me to Bob Donner and we've been together for 17 or so years now.   I'll remember Amelia every day as a happy and optomistic  person who loved people and life.  I will think of her every day...also my son Steve loved her and her Christmas cookies - I may have to learn how to bake!
I will always remember how loving she was to me not just as her daughter in law but also as her daughter and friend. She was so giving and kind. We could talk about anything we had so much in common. My husband would tell me she would talk my ear off… funny guy.  I loved her company and kindness. Now they are both in heaven. No separating those two! Meant to be.

Our last holiday party

I was shocked when I heard the news of Amelia's passing. We have worked together so many years. She was a fun caring lady. Loved to gamble! Always ready to head out to Cache Creek! Loved Pinot Grigio with ice we both did.

Now she is with her beloved husband. Cruising together once more

I will miss my friend. My condolences to her family

Linda

Amelia was a very special friend. My sincere condolences to you, Eric, and the rest of her family
I smile as I remember my cousin and the small  bedroom built by my Uncle Adolph in their two bedroom home especially for her as a teen.  On the wall adjacent to the entry of her room, he made a 'telephone' counter with a small sliding door that slid upward so she could have easy access!  Because of her joy of food and laughter (and chatting)  with family and friends, I have chosen to honor her by donating to the Alameda County Food Bank.

I loved being a part of Amelia's life. She was such a beautiful  person. Our condolences to all of Amelia's family.
I'm so sorry to hear about Amelia's passing. She was such a beautiful soul. I met her when I was looking to purchase a house, she helped me tremendously and she became good friends with my parents. She sent me a letter when my father passed away. I will miss her letters and her calendar every year. May you rest in peace.

Expressing our deepest sympathy to Amelia and her family.  Always the kind and loving soul, an inspiration to everyone in her acquaintance.

We all are at a great loss without her.

I am shocked to learn of Amelia’s passing. We worked many years together in Hercules at Better Homes and Gardens and then Bartel’s Realty.  We went on trip together to Jamaica as a result of a sales contest and shared many laughs. Dennis and she were a great couple. Frankly, I’m heartbroken and so surprised. Amelia was a wonderful, kind, lovely lady whom I was blessed to call a friend.
Amelia was a lovely, kind friend whom I met through my mom. She was so involved with many aspects of Clayton associations and activities. I will miss her terribly, especially having Sunday brunch with her and dear friend Barbara Glass. We lost her much too soon. It was also a pleasure to get to know her two sons, Andy and Eric. A terrible loss for all of us.
