Amelia's obituary

Amelia "Melly" Garcia, a loving and strong matriarch, born on October 27, 1931, sadly passed away on April 11, 2023. Known by many as Melly, Amelia enriched the lives of her friends and family with her sweetness, love, and heart of gold.

Amelia is predeceased by her son, Amador Villanueva. She is survived by her daughters, DeAnna Cruz and Virginia Villanueva, and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Adriana Espinoza, Tommy Espinoza, Yvonne Espinoza, Amador Villanueva, Frank Villanueva, Nick Cacucci, Eric Cacucci, Monica Cuevas, Deseree Lawson, and Michel Cacucci.

Amelia was a lover of Mexican food, particularly beans and flour tortillas, and enjoyed sipping tequila. She cherished listening to Ramon Ayala and Chalino Sanchez's music, as well as appreciating Mexican artistic expressions. One of her favorite pastimes was watching her family dance together, taking immense pride in the sense of unity it demonstrated.

Family gatherings, dancing, and sharing drinks while listening to her favorite music were among Amelia's most adored recreational activities. She held a strong belief in the importance of respect, family cohesion, and the value of welcoming others into her home with a delicious plate of food.

Amelia's greatest accomplishments were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who all looked up to her as the rock of the family. Her legacy is the foundation of unity and love that she instilled in her loved ones, which will continue to thrive for generations to come.
