Amelia (Amy)'s obituary
Amy Nisivoccia (née Martinez), 67, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Mendham, New Jersey. Born on April 4, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey, Amy later moved to Livingston, where she lived a life filled with love, dedication, and vibrant energy.
Amy graduated from Livingston High School and went on to attend Montclair State College. She built a successful career with administrative, accounting, and financial support roles, contributing her expertise to Allied Chemical, Inmont, and Westray. Her professional accomplishments were a testament to her hard work and determination.
Amy was a devoted mother to her two sons, Michael and Joseph Nisivoccia. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Ava and James Nisivoccia, finding immense joy in their presence. Amy is also survived by her brother Richard Martinez and her niece Rachel Martinez. She was predeceased by her parents, Rafael and Amelia Martinez, as well as her brother Victor Martinez.
Outside of her professional life and family commitments, Amy found happiness in pursuing her passions. She was an avid fan of golf and tennis, and had a talent for cooking that always prompted praise and rave reviews, whether in an elegant or casual setting.
Her vibrant, loving personality left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
Above all, Amy will be remembered for living a life full of kindness and the deep love she shared with her family and friends throughout her life.
A Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Chatham, New Jersey, on March 27th at 10:00 AM.
