Amber's obituary

February 6, 2023 we said goodbye to a true light. Amber Lynn Campbell passed after a long battle with cancer. Amber's memory and spirit remain alive and well in her Mother and Father Danny and Deb Smith and her sister Jennifer Atchinson.

Amber’s courage, kindness, and loving spirit will continue in the heart of her greatest love, her son Luca G. Ferragatta

Joey Campbell will forever be the love of her life and her greatest supporter through years of laughter and tears.

To Amber’s Herd of Elephants -

You were her true, fearless, relentless, caring, loving, dedicated, family, Sterling School Community, and Dearest Friends. To you, she leaves it ALL, including her gratitude. During the good days and bad days you were there holding her and laughing with her. We are Amber’s Herd of Elephants! It is up to us to carry on her spirit, her humor, her courage, her bravery, her honesty and her love. Amber WILL BE remembered every time we Pay her laughter forward when we want to cry, Pay her courage forward when we want to quit, Pay her strength forward when we feel weak, and Pay her love and forgiveness forward when anger fills our hearts. Amber’s Herd will never forget. She leaves us better than she found us and for that, we are blessed. We love you, Amber Campbell.

Amber always saw colors even when her world felt black and white. You are loved and will be cherished forever.

*We will celebrate Amber in the spring/summer at her home. Details will be posted at a later time.

*In lieu of Flowers all donations collected from the EverLoved fundraiser will be split 50/50 into:

- Sterling Community School’s Compassion Closet

- Savings for Amber’s son

*Further information related to the creation of the Sterling Community School’s Compassion Closet will be posted on the Sterling Community School Website. The Compassion Closet is inspired by the true spirit of the Mama, Teacher, Daughter, Friend, Sister, Aunty, and Wife Amber Campbell was.
