Thinking of your family and sending lots of love
Amber was a phenomenal person to teach with. Her love for our students was never ending. She was a great friend to all with her big smile and infectious laugh. She is in the heavens brightening it up even more now and watching over her beloved family.
Amber was truly the brightest of lights.  Her strength and positive attitude throughout all of her journey goes unmatched. My thoughts are will her family, the foundation of her strength and the ones who kept her going. Amber, you will forever be missed by not only me but everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you.
To all of Amber's Family and Loved Ones...I am so sorry for the loss of Amber. The world has truly lost a special soul that touched all who knew her. I am thinking of you and praying for all of you to find peace in this.

I had the privilege of working with Amber for four years at SCS. I was often assigned to her room multiple times per day, and I loved it. She was so easy to work with, as we were only a year apart (she always let me know she was the younger one!), we both shared a love of math and science, we shared a true love of middle schoolers (crazy, right?) and we even both have sons named Luca! (Luca, your mom loved you so much and was SO proud of you!) To the untrained eye, her classroom might seem like chaos, with students bouncing on yoga balls, mats and rugs, and even some standing at stand up desks. She provided all of these things because she knew her students so well and knew what they needed. She had a fierce love for them, and it was obvious they loved her in return. She taught them not only math and science, but love, compassion, and kindness. Every day, she wove life lessons into her teaching. I don't know of even one student who had her that didn't love her. I will always remember my time with her with such fondness. She was truly a light in world, and will be missed so much.
