Amber's obituary

Amber Nichol Haines (41) was a beautiful, caring, loving young woman with a smile that could truly light up a room and the kindest laugh. Born in Phoenix Arizona to Martin Haines and Cecilia Converse on July 16th 1981. She grew up in North Phoenix, went to school at Mirage Elementary, Desert Sky middle school and graduated Deer Valley high school class of 1999. Amber loved camping and fishing, and driving 3 wheelers in the desert during her childhood . Amber played the bells in the high school band, and loved photography class too. Amber was never one to blend into the crowd especially in high school she never fit into a specific group sometimes dressing gothic other days hippie. She drove a green VW bus in high school and called herself Fred. She was also so beautiful that she briefly got into modeling.

Amber was a faithful friend

Amber was always so creative and crafty. She won awards for art sculptures in high school. She also worked for sometime doing flower arrangements, she did beautiful flowers and decorations as maid of honor in her little sister’s wedding in 2011.

In October 2013 she moved to Colorado Springs Colorado on the same day she became Aunt Amber. Shortly after that she began working at Merry Maids where she met a lot of good friends and worked her way up to the sales representative. She kept being creative by having an etsy store which had many beautiful jewelry pieces but also silly ornaments as well. Her house was fully decorated with so much of personality on the walls and shelves with fairies, mermaids and even vikings.

Amber was a determined intelligent woman and had finished her bachelors and masters degrees for psychology and criminology. She was only one step away from her doctorate. Amber loved animals and nature. Amber was a member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) for many years and was recently looking into her ancestry of Scottish and Irish descent that her dad had started.

She continued to love fishing and bought a house boat for Lake Powell which was also a favorite childhood vacation spot. She had plans to do a fun trip with her sister and nephew soon. She loved most animals, especially dogs. She even had a ferret as a teenager

Amber is preceded in death by many furbabies, grandparents, aunts and uncles and her dad Martin Haines whom she missed with all of her heart . She is survived by her mother Cecilia Converse, younger sister Megan Morgan, her nephew Clyde Morgan and brother in law Frank Morgan. She also has family in upstate New York and Arizona as well as friends that she loved like family that she remained close to even
