Amanda's obituary
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Amanda Patrice Zbella. Our hearts are shattered.
Amanda was a beautiful, intelligent, caring, loving, and unique young woman. She had three passions in her life - family, animals, and the culinary arts. Because of medical problems that Amanda was experiencing, it made it difficult for her to travel. However, our entire family was able to come together in Sun Valley during the last Christmas holidays, where we were able to enjoy one another. Amanda got to spend time with her new niece, Azalea. Family was important to Amanda.
Her love of animals was obvious since she was a toddler. Growing up she loved caring for our family dogs, Zebby, Maverick and Murphy. Since high school her side kick has been Callie the cat. Amanda’s long time companion, Mason, has agreed to care for Callie.
Amanda knew more about food, cooking techniques, ethnic cuisines and kitchen gadgets than anyone we know. She had recently been accepted into Gastronomicom, one of the top culinary schools in the world. She was to start classes in January of this year, however, due to her medical issues her admission was put on hold.
We plan on having a private family-centric celebration of life during the summer in Sun Valley, Idaho, her favorite place. Thank you for being a part of Amanda’s life. We would appreciate privacy during this time of mourning and hope that you keep Amanda in your thoughts and in your prayers.
Sincerely, her parents Ed and Lisa Zbella and her brothers, Andrew and Alex.
