I, too, met Amy in 1988 at the TPC, she owned that Pro Shop, LOL! She embraced me with the warmest welcome and possessed the most contagious smile. Naturally, we lost touch over the years but fortunately reconnected in the Fall of 2024. We had just lost our house, and 99% of our belongings, to a devastating fire.  Amy helped me pick up the pieces, we established a routine and we literally spoke almost every day for over a year, she made me laugh so hard during the darkest days. It was so much fun catching up on so many years gone by, she spoke of her children with such adoration and conviction, no doubt, they were her greatest treasures!

Impossible to fathom that there will never be another call, more laughter, unforgettable stories… There is a void that will never go away, but I find great comfort knowing she free of the pain and suffering.

Amy, my heart is absolutely shattered, thank you for being such a blessing in my life, RIP beautiful!

The true value of friendship should never be underestimated.

XOXO

Debbie Kruger

I’ve know Amy since we worked together at the TPC at Sawgrass in 1988. She always had a great smile and made sure we were always laughing. One thing is for sure, she loved her kids no matter what. She had lots of struggles but always had a positive attitude when we talked on the phone over the years. I’m sorry she has passed and was not able to say goodbye. She always cheered for me no matter what I was doing in life. RIP my friend. 🙏🏻
