Amanda was a devoted wife to Jason Otten and a loving mother to her five children: Nichole (28), Matthew (25), Amber (21), and Carl (20). She also cherished her role as a mother-in-law to Eric (28). Her heart expanded with the arrival of her beloved grandchildren—Katelynn (4), Elizabeth (3), and August (10 months)—who knew her affectionately as “Nana.” Amanda’s nurturing spirit reached beyond her immediate family; she was also a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who always made time to care for others.

She worked as a cashier at Meijer, where she not only found fulfillment but also created lasting memories. Amanda introduced Nichole and Matthew to their first jobs there, turning work into a shared family experience. Later in her career, she worked alongside her niece Jessica, forming a special bond that brought even more joy to her professional life.

Amanda had a unique ability to brighten any environment. Her presence brought smiles and comfort wherever she went. Whether ensuring her children had everything they needed or checking in on friends and family, Amanda’s love was constant and unconditional.
