Amanda Marie Gordon, born on March 6, 1986, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Kathleen and Ronald Nelson Sr., was a deeply loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend.

On January 5, 2026, Amanda unexpectedly gained her wings and entered Heaven, where she was reunited in the loving arms of her father, Ronald Nelson Sr.

Amanda was known for her incredibly big heart and her natural instinct to care for others. From a young age, she was “the nurse” of the family, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. She offered love, support, and comfort to anyone who needed it, and her kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She was the second child of Kathleen and Ronald Nelson Sr. and grew up surrounded by family who cherished her deeply.

On June 16, 2016, Amanda married the love of her life, Micheal Gordon. Together they built a beautiful home. Amanda has four beloved children: Trinity, Hailey, James, and Brandon, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Amanda is survived by her loving mother, Kathleen; her two sisters and two brothers; her children; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was loved by so many, and it is hoped that all who knew her will cherish their memories of Amanda and find comfort in sharing them together.

Amanda’s love, compassion, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends and in the lives she touched so deeply.
