Amador's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Amador Villarreal Quiroz, also known as Amador Gines Quiroz, who left us on March 11, 2024 while visiting his hometown of Putla Villa de Guerrero, Oaxaca. Born on April 30, 1959, Amador was known for his sociable and helpful personality which touched the lives of many.
After immigrating to the United States as a teenager, he settled down in Salinas, California to start a family. He was well-known for his love of food, distinctly for mole, menudo, Maria's crackers, tamales, and pan dulce. Moreover, Amador was a great enthusiast of Joan Sebastian's music, and he was a devout fan of the Cruz Azul soccer team.
Known for his love of socializing and spending quality time with friends and family, Amador also cherished his walks, which were his preferred means of exercise. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family in his hometown of Putla Villa de Guerrero, Oaxaca, where he happily utilized the plethora of fresh tropical fruit.
Amador is survived by his daughters Denise Villareal, Destiny Villarreal, and Alma Villarreal, as well as his six grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved mother, Antonina Quiroz de Villarreal. Amador was not only a loving father, grandfather and son but also a dedicated friend and a beloved member of the community. He held many lifelong friendships throughout California and Oaxaca dearly.
Amador believed in helping people out, whether it be friends, family, or strangers. He will be remembered by many for his generosity. He will be fondly remembered not just by his human family, but also by the family pet birds who he dearly loved.
Though he has passed on, Amador's memory will forever remain etched in the hearts and minds of his loved ones and the numerous lives he touched. His legacy will live on through his family and the valuable lessons he imparted to those around him.
