Alvin "Al" Pohlenz went home to Jesus on April 14, 2022 at age 78  

Al met his wife, Virginia Lee Gregory at Bethel Baptist Church in Wichita KS.  They married on April 30, 1961 had 5 children, Alvin Eugene Pohlenz (Barb) Lloyd Edward Pohlenz (Rhonda) Michael Scott Pohlenz (Rebecca) Leona Michelle Pohlenz (Scott) Katherine Renee Raines (Buddy)

In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Al also loved hunting ,fishing and singing in Church. Throughout Al’s entire life he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.  

Al had an overwhelming love for his grandchildren  Daniel (Kristina) Brendt (Amanda) Tiffany (Nick) David, Crystal, Kenzie, Laurel, Rosie, Ruby, Jordan (Megan) Tyler, Jayson, Kenyon ,Mayson and a slew of great-grandchild. 

His heart broke from the passing of his grandson Tyler and we rejoice he has joined him in Heaven!
