Obituary
Alvin Kingsley Anderson, born on July 4, 1978, in Boston, Massachusetts, departed this life on February 11, 2026, following unexpected health complications. He was 47 years old.
Alvin was born to Anita K. Anderson and Ronald Renee Knotts. Alvin spent his early years in Boston before traveling and living throughout the New England region. His journey eventually led him to New York City, where he built lasting connections and memories, before relocating to Los Angeles to continue growing his family and future.
From a young age, Alvin was known for his vibrant spirit, sharp mind, great sense of humor, and natural charisma. He was also an avid reader with a deep curiosity about the world. A gifted athlete, he excelled on the basketball court as a smooth, left-handed guard. His talent and dedication earned him All-Star recognition, a high school state championship, and JUCO All-Star honors. He later continued his basketball journey as a proud Manhattan Jaspers athlete—leaving a mark not only through his performance, but through his leadership and presence.
Alvin carried that same drive and vision into his professional life. He was an entrepreneur at heart—a nightclub owner who created spaces where people could come together, celebrate, and enjoy life. Most recently, Alvin began stepping into a new chapter of his ambitions, entering the world of real estate development. This new journey reflected his growth, foresight and commitment to building, something not just for himself, his family’s future and legacy.
Beyond his accomplishments, Alvin grew into a kind, loving, driven, and inspiring man. He carried himself with strength, dignity, ingenuity, and determination—someone who always found a way to accomplish his goals. His energy could light up any room, his charisma and authenticity had people gravitate towards him naturally.
He had a deep love for traveling, experiencing life, and enjoying the timeless sounds of old-school R&B, which reflected his soulful spirit.
Alvin’s greatest pride and purpose was his family.
