It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the loss of Brother Alvaro Avila, who passed away on the 17th of April, 2025. Born on the 31st of May, 1973, Alvaro lived a life full of laughter, intelligence, and love.
Alvaro was a man with a good sense of humor and was known for his ability to brighten up any room. A gifted listener, Alvaro's empathetic nature made him the person people turned to for advice and comfort. He lived his life by advocating humility, strength, and kindness, and these lessons that he passionately imparted to others will continue to live on.
One of Alvaro's proudest achievements was his role as a loving and steadfast family man. He was a beacon of unity, striving to keep his family together amidst all trials, contributing significantly to the family's shared resilience. He was a loving father to his two daughters Samantha Avila, and Ashley Avila and a loving grandfather to his two granddaughters Baylee and Isabella Garcia each of whom were the apple of his eye.
Alvaro's remarkable life was shaped by an unfortunate accident that left him with paraplegia. Despite his condition, his strength was unyielding, and he was supported immensely by his mother Hope Avila and father Frank Flores brothers Frank Flores Jr, Jacob Flores sisters Nancy Avila, Roxanne Godines, and Adrien Flores during this challenging time. His family remained by his side, a testament to the unity Alvaro nurtured within his family.
