Alton's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alton Lowe, a caring and outgoing soul, on March 9, 2024. Born on May 2, 1944, Alton lived a full and rich life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Alton's first real role model was his oldest brother, Charles Lowe Jr. Alton followed in the path of Charles by joining the Air Force after Alton graduated from High School. Alton would serve three years in the Air Force before being honorably discharged.
Alton was an amazing father to his sons, Matthew Lowe and Eric Denney, who survive him. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Jesse Lowe. Alton’s love for his family was unparalleled and he took immense pride in being a trusted guide for his son.
A man of many interests, Alton was always ready for a game of Monopoly. A regular at the local Chuy's. Alton was known to enjoy getting the most amount of value for his money.
Alton loved to attend Meetups and was always looking to make new friends. Alton was very generous with his time. Alton would attend Meetups up until the pandemic and his declining health made it hard for him to travel.
Alton was also a big fan of music, notably the works of Patsy Cline. The magic of her voice brought him great joy and comfort. An active individual, he enjoyed weight lifting as a form of exercise, a reflection of his commitment to maintaining his physical health.
His caring nature and outgoing personality were what made Alton truly special. He had a knack for connecting with people, and his genuine interest in others often turned brief interactions into lasting friendships. He’ll be remembered not just as an amazing father, but also as a true friend with a heart full of love and kindness.
