It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Althea "Al" Cromwell-Lewis,

She peacefully left this world on May 4, 2023 at 4:52 PM . 

Althea was born on June 25, 1943, in Charleston, SC. , .and will be fondly remembered by her many friends and family as a warm, kind, fun, and quirky individual.

Althea is survived by her loving daughter, Shaun Yvette Lewis, Samantha Rene Lewis - Jackson, and Aydrianne Coleman-McCloskey, granddaughter Diamond Althea Lewis-Adams, and 3 great grand children Throughout her life, Althea's greatest pride and joy were her children, who she considered her most outstanding accomplishment.

Known for her strong and resilient spirit, Althea shared valuable lessons with those around her, most notably, the importance of being one's best self. Althea's legacy of love and kindness is a testament to her character and will be forever cherished by her family and friends.

A memorial service honouring the life of Althea Cromwell-Lewis will be held on May 13, 2023, at Samuel Rd. in the common area from 11am to 3pm.    

 We invite all those who knew and loved Althea to join us in celebrating her life and remembering the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her.

Althea requests plants instead of flowers as they will continue to grow in her memory

Althea will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on through the love, laughter, and lessons she shared with those fortunate enough to have known her. Rest in peace, dear Althea. Your legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those you touched.
