Aloith Ann Moninger, or Loi, as she was known, fell asleep in death on April 22, 2025, at 80 years of age, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s dementia. When one of her nurses said “she’s a fighter,” she had no idea how right she was. Loi’s curious mind and tenacious spirit kept her going, and reading, in spite of any obstacles.
