Alma “Becky” Nash passed away on November 16, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was 76.

Alma was born on May 13, 1949, in Muscatine, Iowa. A hardworking and caring woman, she spent many years employed at the Heinz factory before retiring. Alma was known by those who loved her as a generous soul who was always willing to listen without judgment and offer kindness when it was needed most.

She had a deep love for animals and was happiest when caring for them. Alma also enjoyed writing poetry, using words to reflect the feelings and observations of a thoughtful and compassionate heart. Friends and family will remember her as a tree hugger who gave freely of herself and who always had time to lend a supportive ear.

Alma was preceded in death by her daughter, Regina. She is survived by her sons, Chuck and Robert, and by her longtime friend, Bobby, along with others whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.

Alma’s kindness, creativity, and quiet strength will be remembered by all who knew her.
