Alma "Tubby" Glidewell, 83, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Alma was the cherished mother of Patricia (David), Janice (Rick), and Denzil (Mark).

She was a proud grandmother to Matthew, Amanda (Derek), Michael (Monique), Kelly (Jeremy), and Shelly (Chris); a loving great-grand-mother to eight; and a great-great-grandmother to three.

Alma was also the last surviving sister among five siblings Doris Jean, Charles, Kenneth, twin sister Anna Mae, and James.

Alma's life was marked by creativity and resilience. An avid crafter, she poured her heart into every project she touched. Her talents knew no bounds-there seemed to be nothing she couldn't do. Her warmth and light left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives she touched.
