How you can help
Hello all. My name is Julie Evans. You may be wondering how I fit into all of this - I'm a long time family friend of the Herrera's. We were neighbors for many years when Allison was a kid - she and my sister became life-long best friends. I reached out to Mike and Cathy to ask if I could help by creating a memorial fundraiser to help with funeral expenses and they accepted.
Here's where you all come in. The average funeral costs between $7-12 thousand dollars. The absolute last thing that Mike and Cathy should have to think about right now the expenses that come with funeral services. They deserve time to grieve the loss of their beautiful daughter without that burden. I ask you to please join me by donating. There is no amount that is too small - Even $5 helps. This site charges a small fee on donations to cover their costs but everything else goes 100% to Mike and Cathy to cover expenses. I'm hoping that we'll well exceed my fundraising goal so that the extra money can be set aside for Molly and Axel. Allison would want and love that because her kids were her world!
This site also allows you to post memories, share condolences, and upload photos - which I know her family would love.
