Allen's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allen Taylor Jr., born August 16, 1942, who journeyed to the next life on February 20, 2024. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Willma Sparano, along with a plethora of cherished memories, and the lessons he imparted to us all.
Allen was a man of simple and refined tastes. He relished meat and potatoes, with a refreshing Canadian Mist and Coke on the side. He was fond of 50's music, which harmoniously played in the background of his day to day activities. His preferred television shows included NCIS and FBI, and he held a special place in his heart for John Wayne movies.
Whether cheering for the Raiders and A's or indulging in a competitive game of Pinochle, Allen was always in his element. His favored pastimes included visiting car shows and working on his cars. Always active, he loved to walk around car shows for exercise. The Mid West was his vacation spot of choice, coupled with frequent visits to area car shows. A man with a passion for custom cars, he embodied the beauty of blue - his favorite color.
Though initially gruff, Allen's true personality was kind and caring. His greatest lesson was showing his love and consideration for friends and family. Allen's adoration for custom cars led to some of his greatest achievements - he knew how to make them beautiful. His legacy will forever be intertwined with his love for being a car judge, teaching others the value of perfection.
We will miss his teasing, his laughter, and the jovial spirit he brought to every gathering. Allen Taylor Jr. has left a void that can never be filled but his memory will live on forever in our hearts. Rest in power, Al.
