Background
I didn’t see my father for over 20 years because of the history between us. I was notified that my father had a stroke by a sheriff coming to my door. I was the last living relative that could make medical decisions for him since he was incapacitated. Grief is a funny thing; the most unexpected feelings emerge at the news of a loved one’s death even thought we were basically strangers. My father’s life partner for over 25 years decided she couldn't handle the situation any longer and left the decision making to me. I'm asking for a little help to close out my father’s life with this fundraiser.
