Allen's obituary

Allen Wood Olmstead , 78, from Holbrook NY, passed away on November 22, 2020.  He was born in the Bronx. After graduating from Syosset High School, He went on to study Hotel  Management at Paul Smith College.  Were he met Beverly Tallman from Saranac Lake, NY and they wed in 1966, going on to have 3 children, Nicole, Gina and Jesse.

He was unendingly proud of Nicole, Gina, Jesse and Beverly and always tried his best to support them.

Allen was also a passionate motorcycle rider, hunter and
loved to cook. He could often be found up at the mountain house when he wasn’t at home.

Anyone who knew Allen knew that he was a loving father and husband and friend to the end. Allen was predeceased by his Mother Theresa (Bounaiuto) Olmstead and Father Allen E Olmstead and many family members (too many to list). He is survived by is wife Beverly, his sister Alicia, his 3 children, Nicole, Gina and Jesse, 6 grandchild, April, Anthony, Corinne, Cass, Lauren and Kayla and 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Atticus.

There will be a Memorial/celebration of life some time in late July at the Mountain House and at Merrillsville Cemetery in Loon Lake NY.
