Allen James Hines, 54, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on July 9, 2024. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 6, 1969. Allen was known for his vibrant, loud, and bold personality, along with his open minded, fair, and free spirit.

Throughout his life, Allen had worked at many places some of those including: LEAR, Faurecia, and the Salvation Army. His professional life was marked by the same kindness and dedication he showed in his personal interactions.

Allen was a huge fan of Star Wars, he enjoyed keeping up with current news, and he passionately followed Ohio State Football. His hobbies were more than just pastimes; they were the way he connected with those around him, sharing his opinions, enthusiasms, and joys.

At the time of his passing, Allen was over one year sober of alcohol; something he and those close to him were extremely proud of.

He is survived by his daughter, Aileen Hines; siblings Kurt, Anita, and Tina; and his parents, Joyce and Fred Hines. Allen was preceded in death by his son, Keegan Padraic Hines, whose memory he held dear.

A memorial service will be held at St. Martin of Tours, located at 610 W Ripa Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63125, on September 6th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, commemorating what would have been his 55th birthday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
