Allen's obituary
In loving memory of Allen Dinsmore Sr., affectionately known by some as Dinz, sadly left us far too soon on May 31, 2025 in Mineola, TX after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He passed in his home under the care of his children. Allen was born in Bossier City on August 15, 1971. He lived in Bossier City until he joined the United States Air Force in 1991. He served for 20 years and was very proud to be a Veteran.
He was a man of lots of interests, his favorites being spending time with his family, fishing (crappie being his most loved fish to catch and eat), duck hunting, and playing video games with his children and friends. He was always tinkering with something whether it be his house, vehicles, he liked to stay busy and could fix anything.
Allen's legacy of love and strength thrives through his family who survive him: his beloved children Krysten (and her labrador Kennedy) and Allen Jr., his granddaughter Kaia, his brothers Ralph (Trey) and John, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. Allen was predeceased by his loving mother Mary and his father Ralph Jr.
Allen's life was a testament to the person he was – wise, kind-hearted, humorous, and generous. He was always there to help his loved ones in any way he could. His endearing smirk, unforgettable laugh, and charming sense of sarcasm will forever live in the hearts of those who love him. We honor his life and will miss him dearly.
Allen’s columbarium is located at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Veteran’s Cemetery.
His funeral was held at the cemetery on June 17, 2025 which included full Military Honors.
